An amazing day. Aberdour’s second team won their first South Division 2 game, 1-0 against Ballachulish. They defended well, and there was some pretty good play up the wings. Conor got the decisive goal in the second half. Ballachulish created some good chances and could easily have equalised from a corner late on.
The first team acquitted themselves well against Strathglass in the 1st round Camanachd Cup tie but succumbed 5-0. In true Aberdour fashion they competed right up to the final whistle. Some good shinty out there – just need to take some of those chances!
Massive thank you to everyone who helped organise this special day and to the 150-odd supporters who came to watch. Big thanks also to Ballachulish who travelled down here to play so that Aberdour 2nds could watch 1sts.
