Aberdour Shinty Club was formed in May 2001 and has grown in size as a club and within the community.
We offer the opportunity for any person from the age of four upwards to come and try shinty, scotlands national sport.
We now have 60 youth and 30 adult members, and seven age groups:
- Under 8
- Under 10
- Under 12
- Under 14
- Under 17
- Seniors
- Under 18 Girls team
Youngsters are encouraged to get involved and the older youths are given the opportunity to take coaching courses.
All coaches are trained in the new method of coaching using a positive method and are vulnerable people trained too.
